Site offering details of residential and commercial properties for sale freehold or leasehold in Blackpool Poulton St.Annes Fleetwood and Thornton areas around Blackpool, Lancashire.
Letting section also featuring properties.
The existing source code is too "Americanised". Develop source code to simplify listings. Allow estate agents to sign up and display their properties through this unique name. Agents will be able to display up to 10 photographs (specifying landscape or portrait format). Pictures wil be re-sized on submission automatically.
Listings will be free. [Advertising Potential]
Listings auto deleted after 3 months if no action taken by agent. (email sent three days before deletion informing of pending deletion and on day of deletion - 6 hours before)
Viewer able to search by price range, area, number of bedrooms, features etc
Viewer able to contact agent and arrange viewing or further enquiry.
Contact all agents page where viewer can tick boxes and inform them of property type they are after and to be informed of all new properties added to portfolio.

Results are displayed on results.php page - paginated 10 to a page - SORTED BY asking price - details of road name - postcode property type (flat/terraced/semi-detached/detached etc) - price - text area detailing property features - text area giving estate agent spiel selling the property - link to google maps showing location - default picture displayed (note landscape or portrait format) - other thumbnail pictures displayed underneath (on click opens new window to display gallery of pictures for this property) - link to arrange viewing (email generated to estate agent asing them to contact viewer) (copy email to viewer of their request with addition that estate agent will contact them in due course but if their enquiry is urgent they may want to telephone the agent direct - insert agent number)

- Possibly go to separate page for this: upload image one - is this portrait or landscape? - auto resize image to specs supplied by site owner

Edit Property
Search by streetname - paginated - ability to edit all fields

Delete Property
Search by streetname - paginated - on delete query "Display as Sold or Delete complete details?"
If Display as Sold do not include in search results
On submit checks made that minimum criteria is completed - errors informing which field needs adjusting

Edit personal details - Agency Name, Agency Address, Agency Website, Agency email, Contact Name, Job Title, Text description

Site Owner Admin
Add edit delete any area from the complete database
View admin brief details (expands to full details) - allow this admin to display 1,2 or 3 featured properties on front page?
Newsletter to all admins?
Set how long should each property be displayed for - 3 months, 6 months, until further notice?
Auto email all admins that one of their properties is due to drop soon - do you wish to renew listing?
